LEO CAILLARD
Artist Leo Caillard plays with our perception of time. Through the blending of eras and anachronism, he invites us to reflect on the present in relation to our past.
Leo Caillard was born in Paris, France in 1985. He belongs to this new generation of artists associated with the significant changes that have occurred since the 2000s with the advent of the digital age and the new concerns of societies.
As his work gains definition each year, strong parallels can be drawn with contemporary artists such as Damien Hirst and his recent exhibition at the Venice Biennale, Koons and his Gazing Balls, and Olafur Eliasson with his recent luminous creations. When asked which artistic movement Leo Caillard belongs to, he creatively responds that he is part of a new and ultra-contemporary movement.
